The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 – Special Event Update

The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 took place on 5th June in San Jose, California, and boy was it exciting. The presentation started off with a really cool advert about a new employee being asked to sit in the server room due to lack of space in the old office who accidentally shuts down the Apple servers. Intro to Wireframing & Prototyping at the Campus

The Intro to Wireframing & Prototyping was a really good, free class organised by General Assembly at the Google Campus in London. The speaker, Amit Patel, was engaging, inspiring, well-paced and well aware of all the wireframing and prototyping trends out there. My only regret is that the talk wasn’t longer 😉

Amit is a Freelance Product Manager / Designer and has worked on projects like Magaza, Grupo, Adio,, Trapped Magazine and Dixie Hollywood Hotel. He also runs workshops with a wide range of companies that want to upskill their employees and also add design thinking into their current ways of working. If you’d like to learn more about UX, Amit instructs User Experience design courses at General Assembly in London. Continue reading “Intro to Wireframing & Prototyping at the Campus”

There were so many to choose from that if you’re not interested in specific sectors, going with the free pass is more than enough. I decided to stick with the “Developing for the IoT” and “IoT Innovations & Technologies” talks, as they’re nearest to my profession. Continue reading “IoT Tech Expo 2017”
